Question:
I am 20 years old and have been in a sexual relationship with the same man for the past 2 years. In the past year I have noticed much more pain with intercourse, and I dont lubricate properly. I also have no libido whatsoever. I am on the pill and was taking antidepressants. I would just like to know perhaps what can be done about the above. thanks.

Hi, Thank you for your question. Go and see your doctor. Certain types of antidepressants are well known for killing the libido. Your doctor needs to know about that important side-effect, but he or she won't know if you don't tell him or her. Artificial lubricants can help with extra lubrication. Get into the habit of using a dab of a water based lubricant regularly, this will help with chafing, dryness and soreness. Best Wishes, Melissa BEE
