Question:
My partner and I are having unprotected sex and we only do it after I have my period. My question is is there a chance that I still may get pregnant? My second question is: if Im not into the sex emotionally will that stop me from having an orgasim?

Thank you for your question. Most females will not get pregnant if they have unprotected sex for a (variable) period of time before and after their period. On the average, the five days that follow the period and the 8 that preceed it are safe (if your cycle is 28 days and regular). Of course you understand that this will vary greatly from one person to the other. And definitly yes, you need to be emotionally 'ready' to have sex that leads to an orgasm. This encompasses a wide scope that includes mutual love, caring, feeling for him, geting in the mood for sex, wanting him, etc. Even if the setting is not right or as you have planned, it may have an effect on your pleasure as you perceive it.
