i have periods regularly, and this period had not come yet, I had sex for the first time last month. can my period be late, as it is the first time I experienced sex? or it means pregnancy?

I guess my question or you is: Did you use anything to try to prevent the pregnancy (condom, withdrawal)? If so, that certainly reduces youe chances of being pregnant considerably. Certainly your period could be late. Sometimes stess (worrying that you oculd be pregnant) can delay a period. That does happen. However, pregnancy could be a reason why your period is late. I would suggest you see someone at your local family planning clinic. If you are pregnant, you will need to discuss your options. If you are not pregnant, you can discuss effective methods to prevent pregnancy. Best withes!
