Question:
hi
i am 25 and am still a virgin, i have not masturbated before either. but quite recently i came down with the flu and was given antibiotics.....the result of which gave me a rash. it started near the anal and now has moved towards my vigina...and because it was quite itchy had been scratiching it. now everytime i go to the toilet it burns....but also my (i think it is my clit) is really itchy as well. but i think i made things worse, as on this occassion i decided to try masturbation for the first time....i decided to try it with a candle. all i can say it was a wierd sensation, but now i have a burning sensation inside.....god i feel like a mess and that i have done something bad.
please can u help?

You chose the wrong time to try your first explorations. There seems to be nothing serious though. You probably started with a yeast infection (monilia/candida) as a complication to your antibiotic, that was made worse by your trial. The burning senstaion may very well be an inflammation with your urine (cystitis). Now, I am not sure what type of treatment you can get in your coutry with and without prescription. But you do need an antiffungal. Say Canesten/gynodactarin or whatever trade name you have there. These are supplied as vaginal creams or tablets. (not sure if you will be very comfortable using then when you are a virgin). the other alternative is try the oral things (Diflucan or sporanox)any of these shoudl cure your yeast infection. Now you still need a urinary antiseptic.
I think you have to see your local doctor to get a prescription for these medications (or similar) to know how to use them, etc. Again, I do not think that there is really something serious, but you do need a treatment to cure your condition.Reviewed by: Patricia Fawver Ph.D. in Sexology
