Question:
Do you have any information on the procedure of hymen restoration?

Answer:
by Yvonne Fulbright:
(05/13/2004)
Hymen restoration procedure is not something practiced in this country as far as i or my colleagues are aware. However, people often place a great deal of value upon the hymen, buying into the societal belief that it is a true indication of whether or not a female is a virgin. Since the hymen can be torn, broken, or stretched at any point in a female's life, and since some females are born with partial hymens or none at all, an intact hymen is not an accurate sign as to whether or not a woman is a virgin. Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network. Yvonne K. Fulbright, MS.Ed.
