Question:
This is probably going to be the most humanly disgusting thing you have ever heard but here I go. This is the first time I have ever relatively said anything about my std. I am a male that has never had sex with a female and About a year ago I had sexual activity with another male. Well come to find out I got genital herpes from it. I have never taken medication and have had about 3 outbreaks from it. I am straight for sure.. All of my friends think that there is something wrong with me because I have not had sex yet! And to be honest it is something that I am dying to do but I also would never want to take the risk of spreading it because everyone knows Im a virgin. I have to find a solution befor I lose my damn mind. I have never got tested for std's becasue I think if i seen it on paper as positive I would go insane, but from the looks of it I definitely do have G.H. Should I have sex with a girl and act like all is well??? I cannot tell anyone because I have a very large family and everyone nows I have never had sex. Could I say I got herpes from oral sex?? Will there ever be a cure?? Do you think it is something that you can mentally get rid of? I know i am asking crazy questions but I NEED HELP! I have no clue what to do! I have lived my life in this mind state for quite sometime and I cannot do it anymore.. Please give me the best solution you can think of?? Thanks

You need to get to a doctor right away and get that checked out. It's not wise to try and diagnose yourself!!! Many of the sexually transmitted infections can look somewhat similar and a person who is not experienced in diagnosing them would not be able to tell the difference. It could be that you do have herpes or it could be something else entirely - including some other kind of rash that is not even an STI at all. And, by the way - yes, a person can contract herpes and other STI's through oral sex. So, do not delay. Get yourself in to see a doctor right away and find out the truth about this matter. The doctor will help you with medications or treatments for whatever problem you do have. You need to get to the bottom of this and stop letting this drive you crazy. You deserve to have a happy and healthy sex life. Your partners (male and/or female) deserve this as well. So, get in to see the doctor, get on with the treatments, and then, get on with your life.
