Question:
In July i was fingered and now, more than a month later, i have something that looks like a pimple growing on my left lip of my vagina. It feels like a wart and the center is white. It doesn't hurt, but its itchy. I don't know what it is, i was thinking genital warts. Its driving me crazy because i'm only 14. Could you please tell me what it is and how to treat it?

Thank you for submitting your question. I understand that this is a stressful experience, so I will make this as simple and easy as I can. It is possible that this is a pimple or whitehead. These can occur on the vulva the same way they pop up on the face. But I am not a medical doctor, so I cannot diagnose what you have. Even though you are 14, you should see a doctor or a gynecologist – just in case it is some type of virus. Remember, do not irritate it, it can become infected and take longer to heal. Protect yourself from irritation by wearing cotton underwear and not scrubbing it in the shower or bath. I hope that this information helps. Take care.
