Question:
my vulva has been real painful and tender to the touch can i do anything for it?

Answer:

If your soreness is due to "vigorous activity" it'd be good for you to observe sexual rest for 4-7 days, take lukewarm baths with 1/2 cup of baking soda added to the water 2-3 times perday and get as much air to the area as possible. During the day, sometimes its comfortable to place some clear hypoallergenic Vit E skin oil (Rite Aide Brand is good) on the tissue a few times per day. Do NOT use any type of perfumed products and wear very loose fitting clothing. If the tenderness doesn't appreciably improve in 5-10 days..please see you GYN to check it out.
