Question:
I recently had sex with my boyfriend. We used a condom ( lubricated inside and out with the spermicide NON0XYNOL9)we are both confident that there was no breakage / spillage... but can you tell me the chances of pregnancy in a situation like this? because it is known that condoms are not 100% fool proof

I'm glad to be able to address your particular concern. With so much negative and fear-based information put out there, it's easy to be unsure, even in situations where you can be sure. If the condom you used was put on correctly, did not leak, spill, or break, you can be quite sure that there was no chance of pregnancy in that situation. The fact that condoms are not 100% has to do with things like slipping off, breaking, or spilling out into the vagina. If none of those things occur, you have nothing to worry about.
