Question:
I'm looking for information on gonorrhea, How do you get it? How long can you have gonorrhea before it is detected? What kind of treatment is there? How long does it take to get rid of it and is it re accurring?

Gonorrhea is a bacterial sexually transmitted infection, with symptoms that usually appear 2-21 days after infection. It can be transmitted via vaginal or anal intercourse, oral-genital contact, from mother to baby during childbirth, or from infected fluids coming into contact with the eyes. Gonorrhea is treated with antibiotics, like ceftriaxone and spectinomycin. Transmission of the infection can end within hours if treated effectively right away.
