Question:
My question is in relation to female orgasm/ejaculation. I have asked many women if they ejaculate when they have an orgasm. Many have said yes, but some professionals have told me that women have muscle contractions without ejaculation. If what professionals have stated is true, why do women feel a certain kind of ejaculation as they reach an orgasm? Thank you.

Although there is no one agreed upon answer to this question, here's a thought.At the opening of the vagina, imbedded in the pelvic floor muscles of the female are small mucous secreting glands called the skenes and the minor vestibular glands. When the female pelvic floor muscles respond to orgasm through a series of rapid muscular contractions, the glands may secrete some fluid giving the woman a feeling of additional wetness. This fluid is not as much as male ejaculate and not from the urethra (as is the case with male secretions), therfore its not 100% the same as what we call male ejaculate.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
