Question:
I am a 18 year old girl. I had unsafe sex 7 days before my starting date of my periods. My periods have not yet started on date. Am i pregnant?. If i have my periods this time, then does that assure that i am not going to be pregnant due to the unsafe sex i had? Please answer me fast, i am in a terrible mental trauma.Its a question of my life and death.

There is no way for me to tell you over the web whether you are pregnant. The only way that this can be determined is by having a test by a doctor. If you had unprotected intercourse 7 days before your period is due there is a chance you could be pregnant. Hopefully by the time you read this you will have gotten your period and can feel relieved. If you have not gotten your period, I urge you to find someone you trust who can help you get a pregnancy test. Just because you get your period does not guarantee that you will not be pregnant but it is a pretty good sign that you are not.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
