Question:
Is it ever normal to feel like you are going to get sick right before orgasming, and then never finishing because of it even if your partner tries their best?

Hello and thank you for your question. I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing such discomfort during sexual play with your partner. Do you find that you feel nauseaus near orgasm if you are by yourself? I do not know of any specific medical conditions that might cause a reaction like this, and so I am wondering if your body is trying to tell you something. You may be experiencing some anxiety towards sexual pleasure with this particular partner, particularly if he is getting angry when you are unable to have an orgasm. This could effectively make your discomfort even worse. I would suggest that you speak with a counselor or therapist about this problem. They may have some suggestions for relaxtion techniques or other options that might help you find some relief and enjoy your sexuality again. Wishing you the best, M. Scott Gross
