Question:
I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this question, but the other day my partner and I were in midst of fooling around and I began to finger her. She then whispered, "rub my clit" and I have never really known where exactly the "clit" is. Could you provide me with a site with diagrams or documentation?

No need to be embarrassed by not knowing exactly where the clitoris is located on your partner's body. The clitoris is often hard to find (even for some women)! It is a small nub of tissue, approximately the size of a little pea. Similar to the penis in structure (but very much smaller), the clitoris has a glans and a shaft. It is also usually covered by a hood (prepuce). The small size of the clitoris and the fact that it is "hooded" can sometimes make it difficult to find. The best way to locate the clitoris is to "look for" the point where the woman's inner lips (labia minora) join together at the top. That is where it is! However, please note: Genitals (like faces) vary with each individual. Hence, while the parts are all the same, size, color and placement of the structures tend to differ with each person. These variations do not seem to affect sexual response, but perhaps they may challenge some men when searching for the clitoris ;-)

To view specific drawings of female anatomy on the Internet, click on: www.sexualitybytes.ninemsn.com.au/adult/ingredients/reproductive.asp However the web site, Sexuality Bytes, is a good place to get answers to a myriad of other questions on human sexuality too. Their home page url is: www.sexualitybytes.ninemsn.com.au/adult/ If you also would like a good book resource, I suggest that you purchase The Pocket Sex Book, by Ann Hooper (1994). You can find this little gem at many book stores. Thanks for your good question...
