Question:
I am 17. I heard about enhancement devices that stretch the penis and make it longer. I didn't have a device, but I decided to try stretching my penis by hand. I pulled it just below the head with moderate stregnth and held it for just a few seconds. Now its softer and more flexible than before, even opon erection. My scrotum is also loose and my testicles hang down all the time. It seems like I have trouble getting and mantaining erections. I wrote another about this and he said to just give it time and it would go back to normal, its been a few weeks and it has not improved. Please help me.

It is unlikely that you could have injured your genitals with a stretch that occurred once and didn’t result in evident bruising or swelling. Generally, there is no scientific proof that stretching the penis would enhance the size & I advice you not to attempt this again. The multiplicity of your concerns is consistent with an anxiety disorder related to the body image. Many men have a false fixed belief that their genitals are not normal in size or shape or position. The logical steps to follow are: 1) Talk to your parents about your concerns. 2) Visit a urologist to exclude any physical abnormalities. 3) Visit a psychiatrist to manage the anxiety disorder, if the urologist finds you to be physically normal. Best wishes, Hussein Ghanem MD
