Question:
When my girlfriend was masturbating myself with her hand and she was doing a full stroke at the bottom of the stroke i would feel a little pain. I asked her to stop and she was quite happy to do this. when i was able to check myself out i noticed that when my foreskin was ppulled down that a little bit of skin was still attached to the head of the penis. I was wondering if this is normal or is it abnormal and if it is abnormal do you recommend having this fixed surgically or will it fix itself the first time i have sex? If so is there any way to minimize the pain

Thank you for writing in to SexualHealth.com. I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to get back to you.
Two things I must start out with: I am not a medical doctor and I would need more information in order to address your concern. I think the best thing to do is go to a local doctor or health clinic, preferably one that specializes in male reproductive issues (ie, a Urologist). I really would not feel comfortable suggesting any possible explanations without you first having it checked out. Some things you might want to share with your doctor: is this the first time it's ever happened? has it ever happened when you stroke yourself? is there anything different about how your girlfriend was stroking you this time? is there any cracking or bleeding under your foreskin? Does this still happen?
It is important that you see a doctor about this, don't just let it go. You might also want to read through the section on "Men's Health" on the website. It may have some useful information for you.
Good luck and I hope it works out for you. Be well.
