Question:
I have been having "sexual problems" since I was 16. Problems like: difficulty getting or staying wet during sex, unable to acheive orgasm via intercourse, body shakes when on top and I'd stop aburptly, unable to acheive orgasm with fingers (by myself or by partner) unless stimluated for more than 30-45 mins, spontaneous crying when fingered repeatedly and sometimes, i don't feel anything at all. I have had my hormones tested, it came out normal. I am not taking any medication. I maintain a healthy diet as well as excercise. I don't know what's going on with me. Is it psychological? It has gotten to a point where I'd avoid having sex because its too complicated. I'm now 29 years old and I'm tired of feeling insecure about it. HELP!

Like you, may women do not orgasm from intercourse alone. I would say that you are very normal and like a lot of women. The good news is that women's sexuality usually gets better as they age! Try picking up a book like the Big "O", or the Elusive Orgasm. I would also recommend trying a vibrator on your own and experimenting with different types of lubricants.
