How will having prostatitis affect my sex life?
I found out that I have an inflammation of the prostate called prostatitis. Can I still have sex with my girlfriend? Can she catch it?

I’m glad you shared your question with us, and I appreciate your concern for your girlfriend. But you have nothing to worry about…you can’t giveprostatitis to your girlfriend, and it’s perfectly safe to have sex with this condition.
That said, prostatitis may cause pain when you ejaculate. Or, there may be blood or infection in your ejaculate or semen, which usually doesn’t affect a sexual partner. But, if you want to be extra cautious, I would encourage you to wear a condom during all sexual activity until the prostatitis is gone.
