Biography: Dr. Anis graduated from Medical School, Cairo University, Egypt, and completed a 4 year residency / internship training program in Andrology, Sexology & Sexually Transmitted Diseases. He obtained a doctorate degree (1990) in Andrology, Sexology and STDs, and accepted a faculty position as a professor in Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt.
Additionally, Dr. Anis is the Senior Consulting Andrologist to the Nasser Institute of Health. He is also a co-founder and Senior Consulting Andrologist to the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) center of the Women Hospital. In addition he maintains an independent practice in Cairo, specializing in men’s health.
Dr. Anis has served as consulting editor for a variety of professional journals, currently including the Egyptian Journal of Andrology and The Middle East Fertility Society Journal and has presented numerous papers at professional meetings, as well as having his work in sexuality education frequently featured in the media.
Dr. Anis is currently the general secretary of the Pan Arab Society of Impotence Research and Sexual Health PASIR-SH, which includes 400 members from 16 Arabic speaking nations.
