Biography: Mr. Stefan Slowinski brings a combination of international Internet, eLearning, Education and Finance experience to The Sexual Health Network having worked with many public and private Internet companies across North America and Europe. He has held positions as an Internet equity research analyst, a technology investment banker, an eLearning content consultant and an executive education co-ordinator. Prior to joining The Sexual Health Network, Mr. Slowinski was an equity research analyst for Robertson Stephens in London where he wrote investment research on the emerging European Internet market. Mr. Slowinski was one of the first analysts to cover the sector, initiating coverage in November, 1999 with his report entitled ‘European Internet: Competitively Challenged?’. Mr. Slowinski actively covered twelve companies and was involved in many of Europe’s first Internet IPOs, including those of LetsBuyIt.com, QXL.com, T-Online, Wanadoo and WEB.DE. Mr. Slowinski was also one of the first analysts to examine the European Wireless Internet opportunity and the burgeoning Internet software space, publishing ‘The European Wireless Web: Any Time, Anywhere’ in April 2000 and ‘European Software and Services: Building Generation ‘e’’ in July 2000. While with Robertson Stephens, Mr. Slowinski wrote over 100 pieces of investment research and was a resource to institutional investors across Europe as well as to financial and technology information providers including the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Red Herring, Bloomberg and Reuters. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Mr. Slowinski worked as an investment banker in Salomon Smith Barney’s Global Technology Group in San Francisco where he executed a wide range of public and private financings and M&A transactions, including Silicon Valley’s first-ever tracking stock issuance. Mr. Slowinski worked with a variety of technology companies including AOL, Quantum, Sportsline and Terayon. Mr. Slowinski originally joined Salomon Brothers in New York City as a financial analyst. Prior to working in financial services, Mr. Slowinski worked as a foreign language content consultant for a private eLearning start-up company named VentureTech. Mr. Slowinski helped create web-based educational content for professional users of the company’s LearnWare product. Mr. Slowinski also worked for the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he co-ordinated senior-level executive education courses. Mr. Slowinski holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in International Relations, French and Spanish. He has lived, studied and worked in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Spain and is recognized as a Registered Representative in the United Kingdom by the SFA and in the United States by the NYSE and the NASD.
