What do you like best about being a Care Advisor?

Because we're on the cutting edge of healthcare, I am constantly learning and growing as a Care Advisor. Not only do I pass along current information to our clients, I've also become a health resource for my family and friends! The collaborative spirit of the team and the support of our medical staff makes it easy for me to provide useful information and advice.

What has been the most amazing experience you've had so far?

For me, it's the relationships that I build with our clients. It's great to be their first point of contact and to provide a trusted service that people return to. I recently spoke to a client whose anxiety about possible exposure to herpes was keeping him up at night...we spent some time assessing his risk and discussing the right testing options for him. He was worried that his life was ruined, but once I explained how common HSV is, and assured him that there are treatment options available that allow millions of people to lead happy and fulfilling lives after diagnosis, he felt much more prepared to get tested and know his status.
